Throughout her executive career, Chipo has held leadership positions at Arthur Andersen, Tucker Alan Inc, Fox Sports, Universal Music Group, NextDoorOrganics, Group Commerce, and Brunswick Group. Most recently, Chipo joined the young start-up Gray Scalable where she currently serves as Head of Finance and is helping to design and build a profitable business model. She is also counseling an established professional services firm, EIMC, to create a revitalized growth plan for an industry in disruption. Previously, Chipo served as the VP of Finance and Operations for Brunswick Group. In this role, she drove exceptional execution across the areas of Finance, IT, Legal, HR, and Admin, ensuring alignment with the strategic objectives of the firm. During this time, Chipo helped upscale the team by restructuring departments. In four years they grew rapidly, going from 20 partners to 35, and doubled revenue. Earlier in her career, Chipo was with Arthur Andersen before moving to business consulting and private industry roles, including posts at Fox Sports and Universal Music Group where she drove financial discipline over a decade beginning with the largest M&A deal in music. She also co-founded a NY retail, design, gallery space and has consulted on various start-ups.
In addition to her executive career, Chipo is a Board Member for the Office of Diversity and Inclusion of Jersey City and was recently appointed to the Rutgers Big Data Advisory Board. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and is a Certified Public Accountant.
